I had the pleasure of visiting Outpost Sports Cards and Games a little while ago. The purpose of my visit was to sell some of my pokemon card collection to afford a ticket to a financial convention in Banff I will be attending early next year.
First of all my initial assessment of the environment at Outpost was nothing but pleasant. As soon as I walked through the door without any warning I was greeted by the staff with smiles, a clean and inviting store full of beautiful sports memorabilia, sports cards, pokemon merchandise...I was in heaven 😁
Most of my time was spent discussing the value of my cards with Sarah who admits, absolutely loves working at the Outpost. I have to say that it showed...a lot. You now the saying "Love what you do you'll never work a day in your life" ? I am totally sure that this applies here as Sarah spoke to me with passion, commitment, and always had a smile on her face.
The only other staff person I interacted with was Kris. What a nice guy. He explained to me how the process works with buying cards from the public, reasoning behind how much they pay for cards, and that more people that come in to play cards will be more likely to buy used cards (in my case the cards were not used, simply collected).
I spent more time than I wanted to at Outpost as I had a client meeting to get to but the time I did spend was just awesome. They have a whole bunch of Pokemon merchandise as well as lots and lots of sports memorabilia, and a few arcade games and an older pinball game.
I am looking forward to visiting the Outpost as I had nothing but a good time, and good conversations with the staff there. Again, the environment was great, clean (and not just recently cleaned with the odour bleach or whatever) but just clean. And a bar! with a big screen tv! I imagined sitting there watching the Oilers and just having a good time with my buddies!
Thank you again to Sarah and Kris for putting up with my rambling talk of inflation, banks, and my complaints about the Oilers...lol.

Such a great event at The Outpost today! The kids had a blast checking out the new place, and the meet and greet with Zach Hyman was such a nice touch. The store has an awesome selection of hockey memorabilia, and you can tell they really focus on quality and unique items you don’t see everywhere else.
The staff were super friendly and really know their stuff, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend this place for any hockey fan — we’ll be back for sure!

First of All - EPIC event! Everything was well organized ( Mike , Sarah & staff ) and I think to all the fans who waited agreed it was worth it . Zach is not only a great player but such a genuinely a great guy. Grateful for the chance to meet him!

Went for the Zach Hyman signing and it was my first time there, it didn’t disappoint! Had a great time meeting other Oilers fans, Magoo and Michael the owner was a great host! Also if you are into sports memorabilia, there is so much to check out here, definitely stop in!

Nicholas, We have went over this and over this, multiple times already... your cards are not here at Froggers, We have no idea why you even think they are here? We understand you were going through a very tough and challenging stretch of life back when they were lost, heading into rehab and trying to get your life organized before hand, but for the life of us, why you think your cards are here is beyond comprehension. We sure hope you track them down and have tried to help you and will continue to help where ever we can but to leave us a 1 star review for really what is your negligence isn't fair either.
